PP Unit Blogs (all in one)

P.P. Week 1.

Out of the first session the Creative Attributes came out and I am going to reflect on this in this blog post.

I am afraid to say that seeing my self-worthy of high stats in this is basically impossible, so I had help from my mum and sister as they are less pessimistic and see me from an outside point of view. I explained what the exercise was for and they were happy to help. So, I asked them to vote me in 1-10 spectrum and then I decided to use the lowest of the numbers between the two feedbacks.

I don’t know how I feel about this, I mean, I don’t see good qualities of my self as others apparently do, but either way I am planning to get better at the ones I lack, like, self-efficacy and storytelling.

P.P. Week 2.

This day was an eventful as I lost my phone at one point of the exercise and so I do not have pictures of this, but I do remember the exercise thankfully.

We where tasked to go around and ask questions to people, I felt like I was in secondary school again on how blunt it was, I didn’t learn much apart that I found people with my same interests but other than that it was not something I expected to be doing and I am not sure of what goal it was intended towards.

P.P. Week 3.

This week was interesting and made it possible for me to learn of other platform where it is possible to highlight our work.

The one I ended up looking at is calling Behance. This website is where you can search latest work from online from a long line of industries.

Behance has portfolios all listed with main pictures, name, and name of the project plus where they are situated in the industry. You can see how many likes plus views you get and comments. It is easy as it is all clearly linked, and it is a touch away from the information you need. In my opinion uploads on this website would be at the end of every projects with final pieces. I think this site is open enough to be able to be suitable towards anyone.

Pros

  1. Get Jobs

  2. Put gifs and moving images

  3. Clear

  4. Easily accessed

Cons

  1. Need to be selective

  2. Most not on paper and a bit uncomfortable

  3. Most jobs are for USA / not in UK

I think Blogs like WordPress are good enough.

P.P. Week 4

To be honest this project is important but at the same time I didn’t like it. I mean I do not like the shopping centre and exploring it made me uncomfortable. It is dirty and it is a very closed community as some of the people we tried asking questions didn’t speak any English.

But we are not fond of it is beside the point the people we where able to interview all said it looked depressing and they wouldn’t buy food in there as it looks unhygienic. One of the workers said also that the blue from outside the shopping centre was bright pink which would be more energetic than the dirty looking blue that is now, which is the first thing you notice entering or only looking at it. It would be nice to have people respecting the place instead to treat it like crap, one guy also said that he saw a rat scuffling around. We as a team thought we could re-decorate the place, plus change the blue to pink again and clean up the place, not big changes basically.
