This project was set on the back burner this week as I had to pick up the slack on my Minor Project, but it was not completely ignored.
Following the one-to-one I had last week with the tutor, and how my classmates did mention they did like more my sketchbook/Krita-rendered artwork, I decided to drop the watercolour/ink/swirly concept, as it was clear from the feedback the work done before was more impactful, and it would have been nice to have the work move like a gif.
I set off to create it on After Effect and since I went to a workshop for this software last year, this is what popped out:
I had to forcefully shut down my computer to make the error go away. I believe this means that my computer inbuild resolution is not compatible with After Effects, nor is it with Procreate. This was a problem, but I had to be smart about this and not panic. I remembered that Krita does offer animation, so I decided to give it a go.
It did not end well since I couldn’t make anything move. This means I need to learn how to animate, probably with a YouTube video, and it will take time, but I will try, or find another way to make the images move.
What will I do next?
I will try to make the images move for next week and come up with a new better description for the work in the same vein of the Winter Break one.
